I have a wonderful friend who is also an amazing photographer. Her name is Katherine D and if you don't know her, check her out. And better yet, if you live in the Fayetteville, NC area...hit her up for a session. You will NOT be sorry.
Anyhow, back when Hollis was a mere three weeks old, I traveled the four hours down to see her so that she could do a session with Hollis.
Here are some of my favorites from that session. Get ready for the cuteness.
There is such a hysterical story behind this one. Lets just say this...never brag that your newborn doesn't have explosive poops. It will come back to haunt you...every.single.day.

Time for another WAHM rave!!
This time it is for the lovely Christine of Arabesque Baby with whom I've had the pleasure of trading. I think I got a wonderful bargain! Three of her perfectly made fitted diapers for two pairs of YYMN knit longies. The only action shots I've been able to get since my little beany is out of cloth for a bit to heal her battle wounds from yeast. But we are on the mend, and today she was back in the saddle! back in the saddle again!!!

when there is not time to knit...
buy your wool stash from others! this winter i went with a theme. embellish! okay. so it isn't a theme per se, but come on, really...how cute is all this wool? most of it is harpers. i'm so very sad that she has stopped sewing. i NEED more of her wool.
So...starting in the top left hand corner:
Red Striped: Batik Bum Recycled
Purple: Harpers 2T (this is for next year.)
Aqua: Rainbow Waters (1st birtday outfit. Has cute swing top to match! Swoon!!!)
White, Brown and Green on the bottom row: Harper

This adorable pink Harper set is on the way to me...I can NOT wait to get it.
These are from Woolybottoms. I sent them along to Lindsey of Rainbow Waters to embellish for me. I gave her complete artistic license. I can't wait to see what she comes up with!
And how could i forget? I have two skeins of Adara from Three Irish Girls just waiting to be knit up. Someday...or I'll have to send it out to get knit.

Thank you to the sweet mama...
who thought to send me these gorgeous pics of her ADORABLE little one in a pair of longies knit by Andrea (love her!) of Dwell Wool. The colorway is my "Run, Fox, Run" colorway and i ***think*** these are the pair that Andrea so generously donated to the same charity auctions I did for Katie of Ewe Need it.

highlight a wahm
okay. i won't highlight right on her...a bright yellow WAHM is good for no one. But I will bring to your attention the most beautiful thing I think I have ever seen in terms of children's clothing. And while it is still on its way to me, I can't speak on its function, I can speak on its inherent beauty and the wonderful customer service of the WAHM behind Rainbow Waters. Action pics will follow.

taking a minute in awe of other WAHM's
I wanted to take a minute and share my two latest FAVORITE purchases from WAHM's on HyenaCart.
First up is THE MOST PERFECT pin cushion in the whole world. I don't even sew and I had to have this.
This was purchased from Oceanna on Zakka Crafts. I'm beyond in love with and althought it won't get a ton of use, it will be adored always.
Second is my yarn bowl from a local potter, Dancing Dolphin Pottery. It is beautifully handmade and perfect for knitting. She also has her own HyenaCart and can be found on my congo.
