Stephanie's Small Longies

This mama and I have been waiting since MAY to get these longies underway. After numerous delays (neither of our faults)...I'm finally working on them!!! Woo hoo!!! I'm knitting with two skeins to avoid pooling and these lovely's will have cables up the sides. These are for her newborn son...born just this past month! Congrats to the new mama! I know these will look just lovely on her new baby boy!

Trade with Arabesque Baby

I'm doing a trade with a super sweet mama for some of her lovely lovely fitteds. You can find her site on HyenaCart

woodland stocking on iCrave

I dyed up two lovely colorways for this stocking! I wish I could have done more but alas, time is slipping away from me these days.

I'm so in love with the first one. I almost wish it hadnt' sold just so I could keep it!

Nora from TIG for Becky...AKA the most patient mama ever!

Here they are. Finally finished up! I'm so excited about the way these turned out! I think they are just lovely. It helps that I adore knitting with Lindon Merino from TIG. Its lovely. Plus, their colorways really always knit up so nicely. I never have a pooling issue. Really quality dyeing!

Run Fox Run

This is for Sabrina. We did a little trade and she made me the most gorgeous bag for school. This is her yarn before I reskeined it tonight. It ships out tomorrow.

Becky's Longies...Nora by TIG

Finally done. This mama has been so patient as her yarn took nearly a month to get to me and by the time I recieved it I had already started my new job so knitting was slower then normal. But I hope she is happy with the final result. This is before I had wet them and blocked them so you can't see the cables very well. They are drying now so I will get some better pictures tomorrow in the day light.

For Becky....

The along awaited photos are finally here. These do NOT include the knitting I have done tonight. I took these right after work at 4pm so that I had daylight. I am done with the first leg and will be starting the second one tonight.

when there is not time to knit...

buy your wool stash from others! this winter i went with a theme. embellish! okay. so it isn't a theme per se, but come on, really...how cute is all this wool? most of it is harpers. i'm so very sad that she has stopped sewing. i NEED more of her wool.
So...starting in the top left hand corner:
Red Striped: Batik Bum Recycled
Purple: Harpers 2T (this is for next year.)
Aqua: Rainbow Waters (1st birtday outfit. Has cute swing top to match! Swoon!!!)
White, Brown and Green on the bottom row: Harper
This adorable pink Harper set is on the way to me...I can NOT wait to get it. These are from Woolybottoms. I sent them along to Lindsey of Rainbow Waters to embellish for me. I gave her complete artistic license. I can't wait to see what she comes up with!
And how could i forget? I have two skeins of Adara from Three Irish Girls just waiting to be knit up. Someday...or I'll have to send it out to get knit.

Thank you to the sweet mama...

who thought to send me these gorgeous pics of her ADORABLE little one in a pair of longies knit by Andrea (love her!) of Dwell Wool. The colorway is my "Run, Fox, Run" colorway and i ***think*** these are the pair that Andrea so generously donated to the same charity auctions I did for Katie of Ewe Need it.
